Veterans Park Pool Admission Rates (2025) CASH ONLY / NO LARGE BILLS
Admission Rates Per Visit 
Must show valid ID, otherwise the Non-Resident rate will be charged. Rates are per visit. Youth under the age of 12 will not be permitted to enter the pool without an adult over the age of 18 years old. The Supervising Guard on duty has the discretion to make the final decision on fees based on factors presented at the time of admission, for situations which this policy does not address. The Veterans Park Pool is a CASH ONLY facility, small bills are preferred. 

  • Resident: $3.00 
  • Non-Resident: $6.00   
  • Military (Active Duty or Veteran): FREE  
  • Children 4 years old and younger: FREE  
 10 Visit Punch Pass Rates Per Pass 
(Any person can use the pass, not just the original purchaser/pass holder and pass holder does not need to be present). Rates are per pass. 1 person/visit = 1 punch. Pool passes are available for purchase throughout the pool season at Veterans Park Pool during all open hours, with cash-only transactions, OR at the Recreation Office (inside the Community Center and Library) Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM or 2:30 - 4:30 PM, where cash, check, and credit card payments are accepted, credit card transactions incur an additional fee. PASSES GO ON SALE AT THE REC OFFICE MAY 1.

  • Resident Punch Pass: $20.00 
  • Non-Resident Punch Pass: $40.00 
Valid ID Requirements:  
Must show valid ID, otherwise the Non-Resident rate will be charged. Rates are per visit. For NYS DMV IDs we will accept IDs being displayed at time of admission through "New York MiD". The Supervising Guard on duty has the discretion to make the final decision on resident vs non-resident status based on factors presented at time of admission, for situations which this policy does not address. 

  • Resident Youth (4 years of age and younger): Any youth too young to attend school, verbal confirmation of age & residency status of the youth by pool staff will be accepted. 
  • Resident Youth School Age: Any youth aged 17 or younger presenting (A) a school ID or report card (listing name and address) from a school located in West Seneca or (B) Home school documentation listing the students name and a Town of West Seneca address that pays Town of West Seneca property taxes or (C) another form of documentation listing the youths name and address that pays Town of West Seneca property taxes. School ID or Home School documentation must be from the school year which just ended (i.e.: School Year 2024-25 for Summer 2025). 
  • Resident Adult: Any person 18+ with a photo ID showing their Town of West Seneca address that pays Town of West Seneca property taxes. (Example NYS DMV ID). 
  • Military: Any person showing a valid ID listing their active duty or veterans’ status. If a photo is not included on the military ID then a valid ID must be shown in addition. 
Veterans Park Pool Payment Policy 7125
For the convenience and safety of our staff and to streamline transactions, the Veterans Park Pool will not accept bills larger than $50. We also kindly request that patrons refrain from using small coin denominations for payments. 
We're happy to accept credit card payments at the West Seneca Youth & Recreation office Monday - Friday: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM.
To ensure a smooth experience for our community members, if our office is unable to process credit card payments for any reason, we will notify the pool staff immediately. This way, they can inform patrons at the window and prevent unnecessary trips to the office. Please be aware that there is an additional fee for credit card usage. 
Reminder there is an ATM in the lobby of Town Hall (2nd floor).

General Rules
  • Youth under the age of 12 will not be permitted to enter the pool without an adult over the age of 18 years old. Patrons under the age of 12 without an adult over the age of 18 years old may be ejected from the facility, without a refund. 
  • Children wearing diapers must be wearing a swim diaper with athletic shorts with a drawstring or a bathing suit over the diaper. 
  • The following items will not be allowed on the pool deck, in the pool or grass areas: 
  • Food and drinks* 
  • Alcohol 
  • Chewing gum 
  • Fins 
  • Snorkels 
  • Face masks/ goggles with nose covering 
  • Weapons 
  • Newspapers 
  • Toys 
  • Animals 
  • No glass containers 
  • Strollers must stay on 
  • Water bottles are permitted* 
  • Smoking is not permitted. This includes vaping.  
  • Only Coast Guard Approved flotation devices are allowed. Children wearing U.SS. Coast Guard Approved flotation devices must be always accompanied by an adult in the water. No other flotation devices are permitted. 
  • Swimmers using personal flotation devices are not permitted in the diving well or on the diving 
  • The Town of West Seneca and its employees are not responsible for lost or stolen 
  • Pool uses re-circulated DO NOT DRINK. 
  • Pollution of the pool is prohibited, including but not limited to urination, discharge of fecal matter, vomiting, nosebleeds/blowing, spitting, etc. 
  • Individuals with diarrhea shall not use the pool. 
  • Lifeguards are responsible for having persons removed from the pool if they do not conform with all rules and regulations, including state and local health laws. 
  • Any person removed from the pool may be asked to leave and not return for the remainder of the season. If a person is ejected from the pool for not following the posted rules, state and local health laws, etc., they will not be issued a refund or rain ticket. 
  • Only authorized personnel are permitted to enter the pool house, maintenance room, chlorine and soda ash storage sheds. 
  • Spectators with street clothes must stay on grassy area and are not permitted in the water. 
  • Swimmers must wear a bathing suit or athletic shorts with a drawstring to enter the pool (no denim/jean/khaki shorts). 
  • T-Shirts may be worn over bathing suits for sun protection. 
  • Shower before entering the pool. 
  • Running, pushing, horseplay, and profanity are STRICTLY prohibited.  
  • Do not dive anywhere in the pool outside of the diving well. 
  • Do not hang on lane lines or ropes. 
  • Music/Music Players/Speakers are not allowed. 
  • West Seneca Youth and Recreation reserves the right to cancel any program and/or close the facility with no notice for any reason including but not limited to weather, staffing levels, low attendance, power outage, etc. 
  • All rules are subject to change without notice. 

Diving Board Rules
  • A guard must always be on duty during use of the diving well. 
  • The diving well is for the use of diving boards and nothing else. 
  • One person on a diving board at a time 
  • No more than 3 bounces on the board 
  • Swimmers may only enter the water off the end of the diving board 
  • Once entering the water patrons must swim straight across to the other side. 
  • Swimmers MUST be able to swim in the deep end in order to use a diving well. 
  • Jumping off the boards backwards is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Flips, dives, and twists are allowed. 
  • Only one side of the boards is permitted at a time. 
  • Youth must be swim tested (and pass) prior to use of diving well, ask a lifeguard for testing!
