May 2022 NewsletterThe department is closed on Monday, May 30, 2022 for Memorial Day.The West Seneca Joint Veterans Committee will hold their annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on May 30, 2022. The parade steps off from Southgate Plaza at 10:30 AM and makes it's way down Union Road until it reaches Town Hall. The Ceremony takes place when the Parade arrives and assembles at Town Hall. More information: www.westsenecavets.org. Edit: 5/2/2022 The Parade has been discontinued. The Ceremony and Civil War Encampments will still take place. Youth Open Gym Spring 2022 - The department is offering YOUTH OPEN GYM for ages 5-13 during the month of May. The program is FREE for West Seneca Residents. Pre-registration is required. Spots are limited. First come, first serve. Registration is online only. The program is contingent upon finding volunteers. We would love to offer additional dates in May, IF we had the volunteers. Please keep an eye on our website for an update. The Splash Pad has FREE admission for EVERYONE!Veterans Park Large Pool - The department is still searching for Aquatics Staff for Summer 2022. The Veterans Park Large Pool schedule will be contingent upon proper staffing levels. This program opening and operating is contingent upon staffing levels.
