Blended Learning Lifeguard Class April

Want to become a Lifeguard? The West Seneca Youth & Recreation department will be hosting a Red Cross Life Guard certification class April 2024. This is a blended learning class, meaning a portion of this class must be completed online before start of the in person course. Once you are registered you will receive a link to the blended learning (online portion). Once you complete the blended learning you will receive a certificate. Bring that to the first class to verify your eligibility.
The in-person portion of the class will be held at West Seneca East Middle School from 7:30a-2:30p April 2, 3, 4
Registration is online only. Space is limited.
Cost:
50.00 for RESIDENTS
50.00 for Non- Residents but SPACE IS LIMITED and PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. A resident is any person who resides at an address that pays Town of West Seneca property taxes.

Registration Start/End Date/Time can be found below in the registration section. Pre-registration is required. Registration is online only. Space is limited.
After the registration end date, regardless of if spots remain available or open during the program, we will not accept any additional program sign-ups. This is to allow our department time to properly prepare for the program
For programs that registration is by AGE - We will not allow youth younger or older than the accepted age range to attend a different program/session for a different age range. There are no exceptions. We strive to create a program that is safe, successful, and fair for all.
For programs that registration is by GRADE - We will not allow youth younger or older than the accepted grade range to attend a different program/session for a different grade range. There are no exceptions. We strive to create a program that is safe, successful, and fair for all.
If spots fill, we will not be running a wait-list. If someone cancels their enrollment prior to the registration end date, registration will open again (for the open spot only). That open spot or spots will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will make our best effort to post open spots, as they become available on our social media.
