Kick off the summer with us exploring Charles E. Burchfield Nature and Art Center! This program is highly active. Activities will be outdoors. Activities will include walking, running, and exploring West Seneca Park! The program is limited to 20 youth per session and pre-registration is required (no walk-ins). Parents/Guardians must both walk their child in/out and sign their child in/out of the program. Youth are required to bring a water bottle and sneakers to each session. The program runs rain or shine. Parents will drop off and pick up children at Burchfield Nature and Art Center (2001 Union Road).

Who:
July 6, 2023, for ages 6-8
July 7, 2023, for ages 9-11
We will not allow youth younger or older than the accepted age range to attend a different program/session for a different age range. There are no exceptions. We strive to create a program that is safe, successful, and fair for all.
Schedule:
9:30 - 9:40 - Drop Off. Parents must walk their children in and sign them in. Youth not in attendance at 9:40 AM will be marked absent and not able to attend the program.
9:50 - 11:20 - Program activities
11:20 - 11:30 AM - Pick-Up. Adults must walk their child in, be on the approved pick-up list (provided at the time of registration) and show their photo ID before a child can be released to them.
Drop Off/Pick Up
At Drop Off - Parents must walk their children in and sign them in. Youth not in attendance by the end of the drop-off time period will be marked absent and not able to attend the program.
At Pick Up - Pick-Up. Adults must walk their child in, be on the approved pick-up list (provided at the time of registration) and show their photo ID before a child can be released to them. Any youth picked up after the pickup time period (ie: picked up late) may not be permitted to attend the future in the future and the West Seneca Police could be contacted. Cost:
FREE for RESIDENTS but SPACE IS LIMITED and PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. A resident is any person who resides at an address that pays Town of West Seneca property taxes.
Registration begins March 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM
Registration ends June 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM or when spots are full, whichever comes first.
After the registration end date, regardless of if spots remain available or open during the program, we will not accept any additional program sign-ups. This is to allow our department time to properly prepare for the program
If spots fill, we will not be running a waitlist. If someone cancels their enrollment prior to the registration end date, registration will open again (for the open spot only). That open spot or spots will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will make our best effort to post open spots, as they become available on our social media.
