Reminder: West Seneca Youth & Recreation is CLOSED on Veterans Day (11/11/21), Thanksgiving Day (11/25/21), and the Day After Thanksgiving (11/26/21). Further, the department could close early the day before Thanksgiving (11/24/21) please check our website or social media for updates.

Check out our World Recycling Day activity launched November 1, 2021 on www.westsenecarecreation.com. 

All programs including Adult Skate, Open Skate, Over 30 Hockey, and Youth Gym Programs (Youth and Adult) are contingent upon proper staffing levels. The department currently does not have enough staff to run any programs. Program start dates have been delayed. To apply, see the Now Hiring section below. Please note that an update regarding Adult Skate and Open Public Skate will be released on or around November 2, 2021. 

The Enchanted Path was a huge success. We would like to thank everyone who attended and our Event Partners, who made the event possible!

The Bike Pump Track (Harlem Road Park) and the United Way Born Learning Trail (Tim Russert Park) are now open!

The department office is open during its regular hours of operation Monday – Friday from 9:30 – 11:30 AM and 2:30 - 4:30 PM. We highly suggest that you call 716-674-6086 before you come to ensure we are not closed due to low staffing.

Recreation Attendant, Part-Time various positions such as but not limited to ice rink guard (16+), youth gym attendant (18+), camp staff (18+), certified aquatics staff (16+). We need Rec Attendants PT for 2021 programs (Adult Skate, Open Skate, Pickleball, Basketball, Open Gym, and More)! The gym will remain closed for programming until the gym positions are filled. Open/Adult Skate and Youth Gym Programs will not run until the rink positions are filled for the 2021-22 season. Apply Today!

Clerk Typist, Part-Time: Requirements include being proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. The department office will remain under appointments being required for membership cards and walk in registration until this position is filled.
